Industry: Online Program Site: http://www.onegeneration.org Description: ONEgeneration requested a re-design of their website www.one4seniors.org. There was a need to update their design concept, organize their navigational system, and help develop and maintain content for their target audiences.

Project Overview

ONEgeneration is the care industry’s premier intergenerational program. It is on the vanguard of a growing movement to provide shared site child care and senior care.

Challenge

ONEgeneration requested a re-design of their website www.one4seniors.org. There was a need to update their design concept, organize their navigational system, and help develop and maintain content for their target audiences. The project tasks included:
• Re-design that would draw visual and emotional impact while upholding the importance of ONEgeneration’s mission, helping to brand their professional image
• Cater to multiple and diverse audiences including: donors, philanthropic foundations, agencies seeking intergenerational day care consultants, clients, and caretakers
• With certain sections requiring constant update a Website Content Manager was needed

Solution

CIS Media proposed a new ONEgeneration website design and branding concept. Dynamic, interactive and transactional were the cornerstones for development. To service the needs of multiple audiences including current and perspective end-users, audience targets included donors and philanthropic foundations that provide ONEgeneration with grants, agencies seeking intergenerational day care consultants, clients, and caretakers, and the media. Our approach combines the creativity in design elements with solid technology and business processes. The new ONEgeneration Website will include:

• An updated design concept with updated navigational system and layout
• Content editing and development to enhance the information and presentation of
• Optimization for improved loading performance, catering all audiences and internet levels
• Online Content Manager for the update/edit of text, images, and PDF documents

Result

The CIS Media Design Team was successful in creating an improved online presence for ONEgeneration. A thorough optimization of the site and its content has improved loading time as well as ease in usability. ONEgeneration is extremely satisfied with the design and functionality. The project has lead to an interest in the further developments in Search Engine Optimization and continued growth of the website.
